BooksnMoods 2023 Favorite Books

Hey, everyone! Can you believe we’re at the end of another year? And what a literary rollercoaster it was for us. I don’t know about you, but 2023 was really good for some of us while the others suffered with of a huge book slump (which we already gave tips on how to overcome it. Make sure to check it out!). So, cozy up because we are about to drop some of our favorite of books we read this year and that you shouldn’t be missing out.

  • Val’s Top 3 Books

    • God of Fury by Rina Kent
I love him with my sane and insane parts. He’s my lotus flower. My Prince Charming. The love of my life. Mine.
    • Wrath by Ella James
And I’m holding him. I’m holding Ezra Masters. My stepbrother. The most infuriating guy I’ve ever met. The smirkiest and the cockiest and by far the most confusing. The most gorgeous…and I think maybe the most broken. I’ve got him, safe with me. And I don’t ever want to let him go.
    • Like You Hate Me by Bethany Winters
I don’t want you to forget, I just want you to love me anyway.
  • Mary’s Top 3 Books

    • Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
A dragon without its rider is a tragedy. A rider without their dragon is dead.
    • Love Redesigned by Lauren Asher
Whoever hurt her, I’ll ruin them. And whenever she needs someone to lean on, I will be there.
    • Hopeless by Elsie Silver
It bothers me that what we’re doing here can be filed away as fake when it’s the most real thing I’ve felt in my life.
  • Sofia’s Top 3 Books

    • God of Fury by Rina Kent
Because Nikolai is the only one who kisses the pain out of me, even if temporarily.
    • Rush by Emma Scott
Maybe what I told her was a lie. Maybe I could be what she deserved. My endless black was never going to go away. That was certainty. But kissing Charlotte had been a burst of light streaking across it, like a comet. Maybe. Maybe is gradations of darkness. The sweetest torture. Maybe is hope.
    • Beast of Turmoil by Mara J Greth
Touch a butterfly’s wings, and you risk damaging them.
  • Julie Top 3 Books

    • Sadly Julie didn’t have the best year and was in a deep book slump but I couldn’t leave her out. Let’s all send her some prayers so she will find some new favorites in 2024! Julie, don’t forget to tell us if our prayers reached you!

So, there you have it, bookish friends. Our favorite books with hopes they will be yours too if you give them a chance. Unless you have read some or all of them? If so, what’s your opinion on them?

Happy reading, and let’s see what the next chapter brings!
